Baby Blue is the latest in a series of baby blue earrings from the designer, RTE.
The earrings, made from platinum and titanium, have a light blue tint and come in different colours.
The company says they are for babies aged 0 to 10 years old.
The Baby Blue earrings are the latest design from RTE, after the earrings of the designer’s friend and fellow designer, Claire Williams, and the earring of designer Liza Mott.
The Earring of the Year, a designer’s first ever award, will be handed out to a designer in a live performance.
“Baby Blue is a truly personal and artistic creation that I’m thrilled to be able to bring to life,” Williams said.
RTE is currently selling baby blue in Australia.
The baby blue has been available in pink, blue and blue-green.
Rte said Baby Blue was the first earring in the series to be designed in Australia, and its designer was also the first to create a earring for a baby.
RTF, RTA, RTÉ and RTÉ will be the first broadcasters to announce the winner.
A video will be shown on the RTE website shortly after the ceremony.
“We’re thrilled to see so many of you respond to Baby Blue, and to see the support from the world of fashion.
This is a very special occasion for all of us at RTE,” RTE chief executive Michael Cusimano said.
The baby blue is a collaboration between RTE and Mott, who is also a fashion designer and head of creative for RTE Australia.
Mott and RTE are celebrating the birth of their first child in April 2019.
